Humidity question?

Jorge Cervantes book says the ideal humidity should be 60 to 70% in the vegetative state. My humidity seems to stay around 40 to 50%. Do I need to get a humidifier to raise it 60%? I see YouTube videos where people have their humidity around 40 to 50% in the vegetative state. I just want to know if I need to actually spend the money on a humidifier or if it's not that big of a deal. Thanks

That's just optimal range. The stomata on the leaves just won't be as open. But I run my tent around 45% RH through veg and flower and I haven't seen a problem in veg yet. Raising the humidity might help them grow just a little quicker but nothing really noticable

one thing you can do to raise your RH% in your veg tent is to put a bowl of water in with the girls, what I have done in the past is fill bowl full of Hydroton clay balls then filled it with water.. the clay balls gives it more surface area so long as your above 40% in veg I would not get to excited
