I have GG#4 in DWC its almost on 2 weeks come monday and it started out ok but then it started to grow under developed leaves, instead if the 3 early leaves only 2 came out and also started to develop yellow spots. Thought it was cal def and applied cal mag at nutrient change and its just getting worst plus it stopped growing. WTF!!!!
I just don't know: help!

The water should b just under the basket, if the basket is sitting in the water it hurts the roots

My first few runs I was having the same problem, I figured it needed to reach the water so I filled it to much, but the bubbles actually make like a mist in there that saturates the hydroton and the roots will”search” grow, looking for the water source ....I think that’s how it works lol
