Light burn or nutrient issue?

Hey everyone,

Below is a picture of my girl. She's veggin about 4 weeks now. Light cycle of 18/6. Getting 1 quarter of the recommended nutrient dose in her water and ph level is between the normal parameters.

I notice that a couple of the top leaves edges were going brown and lighter than the rest yesterday. The light is hps and was about 5 inches away from the top. Iv moved it not to about 10 as I thought it was light burn. If noticed a couple of brown spots on these leaves now. Is this light burn or a nutrient issue. No other leaves have any issues

Looks like the start of a potassium deficiency, you should pick the nutes up to half strength. What size hps light? 5" is pretty close. Not sure what medium your growing in but 1|4 of recommended is light for that size of plant, time to up it .

Also looks like some calcium and magnesium deficiencies showing up, more nutes and a dash of cal/mag should clear this up.

Wow that looks cool .... almost looks edited but i can see its not . sorry i am a first time grower and cant really help butbi can provide some references

Sorry i made a mistake it's a 250 cfl bulb .

Actually I may have found the problem. I mixed up my nutes
I was using plagron alga bloom instead of plagron alga grow.

May be what's causing the problem
