Hello all, I have a 2.3x4.3x7tall I have a 400 hps in it I want to get a 1000w dimmable will this help tighten my buds up I find there not tight enough with the 400w.I am using advanced nuts I may try Reno nuts next any help please

600 is a better lamp for that set up and there's no need to dim it. Just my thoughts. I think I've seen comparisons with gram per watt and the 600 does better. Maybe I'm wrong there. But, a 1,000 is going to require a good hood and venting, and always good air movement.

The 400 isn't enough, but I think the 1,000 is too much even dimmed down.

I have a vented good I want to go to a 5ft x5ft so that’s why I was set on the 1000 but two 600 may do the trick

Two 600s give you flexibility and options should a failure happen. The 400 becomes the veg light. Problem solved your a genius

Yes go for 2 600 I have a 1000 in a 5 x 6 and I have to keep moving my light wish I would of got 2 600 instead

Purchased my first 600 the tent will be back ordered since I am in Canada peopke are going crazy so thanks for the advise 2 600 and a six inch fan for head 4 inch to add fresh air

More PAR = More Grams. What is peak efficiency is debated. Why not get a second 400W and put in each 2x2 and have super even light and save dough on a second light.
