Light questions

600 is a better lamp for that set up and there's no need to dim it. Just my thoughts. I think I've seen comparisons with gram per watt and the 600 does better. Maybe I'm wrong there. But, a 1,000 is going to require a good hood and venting, and always good air movement.

The 400 isn't enough, but I think the 1,000 is too much even dimmed down.

Two 600s give you flexibility and options should a failure happen. The 400 becomes the veg light. Problem solved your a genius ;)
 
More PAR = More Grams. What is peak efficiency is debated. Why not get a second 400W and put in each 2x2 and have super even light and save dough on a second light.
