Mainlining Question

I got a mainline question for ya....I topped mine down to the third node....I did leave the fan leaves on for a few days just in case of shock.....any way after it recovers which it seems to have already done. When do you top the two new mains? Do u use the first set of growth tips to come out? U surely don't wait for another third node on each new main, do you?

Anyway.....here is a pic of her......3 weeks old and topped two days ago....

I waited till the 2nd or 3rd hoping to get 8 mains by the end of veg. I have 9 ladies doing well all with 8-12 main colas. 4 weeks into flower they are popping! Try fim'n you might like it better!

Hey thanks rip.....I actually snapped one of the growths u c in he pic trying to train it.....rookie mistake. But it tooth picked it and 3 days later I think she will b ok.....

Mainlining is quite easy, but it takes time.. You know, not all plants respond in the same way to HST.
I suggest you to look at your plant and see when it is ready for the next topping. If you see her stressed, you may wait a few days until she recovers. Create as many colas as you wish, but HST her only during the veg!
Keep working with LST till the end.
Remember that more colas = smaller size for each of them..
If you think mold could be a problem, go for more colas, imo. Also depends if you are working indoor or outdoor.
Be patient, the reward will be amazing.
