On two consecutive days, authorities in Mercer County, Ohio seized marijuana plants with an estimated value of $33, 000. On August 29, Mercer County Sheriff's Deputies and members of the Grand Lake Task force acting on a tip found three plants ranging in height from 2 to 3 feet in a field on State Route 117 in Dublin Township. Then on August 30, the same authorities seized 19 plants growing in a woods in Butler Township. These plants were well maintained and were nearly 6 feet in height.

Sheriff Jeff Grey said his deputies left their business cards at the scene in case the dealers want to report their plants stolen.
