hey, well about two weeks ago me and some friends got some pretty decent bud, about half O. well, me and my friend split it. although, when i was at his house and we were gonna go smoke his stuff (two weeks later/lastnight) we found this white stuff all over it and it seemed like some type of mold or something. I know this isn't good but has anyone seen anything like this? what are the effects? has this happened to you guys? i am pretty sure they are not crystals cause weed doesn't crystalize by itself

Probably mold. Air tight canisters are the best thing for long term use.

I'd like to direct your attention to a thread I responded to back in 2003...
Smoking moldy weed CAN and WILL lead to lung infections... I've seen it happen and it's definately not something you want because when you get a lung infection from inhaling mold spores, you get so sick you can't even smoke healthy, non-moldy weed. Bad idea.
