New grower - Topping question

Hello I am a new grower who was suddenly thrown into growing because someone offered me a free northern lights. (feminized) about 27 days old so I took it. He hasn't given it nutrients or even tested the ph so I will be testing ph and starting a small fox farm trio feeding tomorrow. When should I top this thing?

I like to top at 4 nodes so you have 8 branches that can be trained out. Sometimes (often times) the first node does not grow out well so you want to go to 5 nodes. If it is above that already top it. Train out the best ones and consider thinning out the heard to allow for the best ones to grow primo. You can take the extras and clone them and keep on growing.

That all assume you have great lights and general setup.

Best of luck. Starting a journal would be your best chances of getting this thing to a decent end.
