New seedling cabinet build

I'm building this new cabinet to grow seedlings in so they're ready to transplant into the tents as soon as I harvest and will be that much bigger starting the grow. I suppose I could also keep some clones in it at some point if I start keeping clones.

I'm probably going to put a little HLG 40 in the top and some of those nice little AC infinity cabinet fans and controller for ventilation. Tomorrow going to cut the doors and route them and the top lid, you know for the gud looks. I plan to line the inside with panda film.

I think the big burning question I have for you fine folks is what color should I paint the outside? Probably going to slap my stickers on the outside once I get it all together as well.

I like wood, so just varathane. Something I do to add to the look is score the plywood with a box knife so it resembles well matched boards.

I’d go black myself def not bright colours as those attract pest

I thought about doing some sort of stain or lacquer but I think I want more of a solid color. I was thinking about black actually so I may end up going that direction. I was also thinking about green potentially, but you think green would attract pests?

Hi, looks good what you've built so far. For the outside colour, I would say it matters not, do what you like. Paint it fitting to your loft/room/apartment. If the room is black, painting it pepto bismol pink is more than likely out of the question....
Just my $0.02: Put foil on the inside of your cabinet.

I ended up going with some chalkboard paint. I like the flat black and it allows plenty of space for notes.

I just need to put the guts in it now
