Newbie help

Agree, Fella - next time fill your pots up to the top. For soil grows bigger is better and it helps to fill the pots all the way up. Don’t compress the soil, you want to keep it light and airy but over time the water compresses it down slowly anyway but at least fill the containers to the top starting out. Then you can always add a little bit to the top or have room for top dressing.

Over watering is a real bummer here. Huge leaves just looking heavy and lazy. Someone said "rubber"? You appear to have a touch of mag def by a little interveinal chlorosis. The random black/necrotic spots could be seen as cal def as well.

All this could have been brought on by overwatering. Soaked roots display a ton of ways. In case it is a def and waiting to see if less water fixes it, you could see it progress. Cal/Mag is great to have as a bottle grower, so not a waste of cash. So if you were about to purchase some, do it. Add a touch and see if it halts.

The thing about throwing a couple different things at a sick plant, and they get better. Ya never know which one it was.

Less watering is always a good thing with soil that dark. ;) Cal/Mag should be in your utility belt/hat of tricks.

I’m going out on a limb here, at this point I don’t suspect pests directly but it’s a possibility. Save the leaves you just snipped and scope them front & back for critters and eggs. By scope I mean use a jewelers loupe or mini microscope or usb digital microscope. If you don’t have a scope you can download phone app called magnifyer. It uses your phones on board camera to get digital microscope pics. Look for tiny eggs attached to leaf undersides, in most cases you won’t see them with your eye. The loupe or scope is another great tool for any gardener to have. Maybe snip a healthy leaf and check both sides in addition to the damaged leaves.

It’s probably not critters at this point but it’s something you should be aware of and have the tools to investigate and search it out. They can multiply exponentially in a few days. Be careful of going outdoors and then coming back into the garden also cats & dogs can be sources of critters.

i would spray the leaves not feed the roots for mag ,( just to be safe )

When diluted with water, Epsom salt is easily taken up by plants, especially when applied as a foliar spray. Most plants can be misted with a solution of 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of Epsom salt per gallon of water once a month.~

Then your not adding to the rot ball

Ok thank you all for helping this newbie here haha.
I received my calmag today

As you can see here is written “2ml per litre Foliar at lights out”
What do you think about that?
Can Calmag cause damage to my auto by spraying it? (Because my auto is in his second week of flower).

Ok so at lights out or on?
the pot is now heavy so I’ll try as you said.
One last question before the “waiting game”:
with “roots half strength” do you mean 1ml instead of 2 per litre in a normal watering?
thank you :)

Yes always go half strength on every thing you buy until you can build up a trust in the product any nutrients, pest control etc , you can look up some videos on best times to foliar feed , you want to catch them when they can take in the nutrients , i think its early morning or late eve, or both , i used to foliar morning just as the lights came on as my room took a little time to heat up so i was able to do it early and I'm sure i read its a good time to feed :goodluck:

Where I can find these “best times” videos?

The Ideal Time For Folair Spraying

The ideal time for foliar spraying is the early morning if you’re growing outside and whenever the light turns on if you’re growing inside. The stomata are open when the light is on them. It should be noted, however, that a temperature of 80 degrees or more will make the spray less effective because many of the stomata will be closed.

So just 20 mins before lights on you will be good to feed ( this is what i did)

Hi all, update (more like a question xD)
Ok so as I can see this one is getting strange with the color. I think the problem is the medium quantity.
ECD08D9D-D1E1-4203-B77E-1CE665BD6418.jpeg

under the pots you can find the number “30” (but it’s impossible 30litre so I think is cm). Anyway I searched and 30 cm pots are 4,39 gal. AS you can see is not even full.
My question is : “every person I met (and internet) told me to not transplant autos because they are too quick and can’t recover.
I think if I don’t transplant her she will die.
Thank you guys.

I’m so worried this can kill them in the long term so I actually don’t know.
I know for shure it’s not overwatering because last week I waited 5days without watering (someone told me here to do it thinking it might be overwatering) after that the symptoms didn’t stop.
What do you think about this situation, should I try cal-mag / remove completely yellow and dead leaves.

thank you and happy holidays .
Like most everyone on here I'll tell you from my experience only, I have never used Cal-mag
in a soil grow NEVER hydro yes but never in soil. The yellow leaves I believe is normal it looks
like you are in your 2nd or 3rd true week of flower, usually you will start to loose some of the lower
leaves in flower for she will pull what she needs from them to make the flowers be all they
can be...

Hi guys, I thought you wanted some news.

so as today : 2 regular Ak47 (64 days veg)
1 amnesia auto (57 days flw)

I think it’s time to flip my lights (I added one spiderfarmer sf1000) to 12/12.
My question is simple. Do you think they can go to flower like this?

Here’s my amnesia auto (should be ready in a week) First harvest ever!!!

The most important thing for me are the regular ones.
I was thinking to switch to 12/12. Maybe i can transplant them into bigger pots before flowering.
If you think I should keep trying to fix my issues before flower please tell me.
Someone advised me to get rid of all the bottom leaves (at least the ones touching the pot border) to increase air penetration.
I will wait your super useful tips as always.
