Newbie question

Flushing is simply watering a plant with plain H20 to flush out nutes previously applied, either veg nutes, or flowering nutes. Flushing is normally done between nute changes (veg to flower), or flushing your plant before harvest to rid all the otherwise nasty tasting residue left in the plant by flowering nutes. Flushing can also be done to correct (if done in time) problems associated with over feeding plants with too strong nute solutions.

When I flush, I use de clor'd (water left exposed to the air for at least 24 hours) tap water. Others, who's tap water is too high in PH use bottled water with correct PH levels.

When ever you flush, just make sure you pour enough through so that the water draining out is as clear as the water your pouring in.

Hope this helps.
