Hello every one. Thanks for checking me out. This is my first journal so if its bad i do apologize. Im going to run 8 strains all indica. 6 in 5 gallon pots and 2 in 7 gallon pots. ok this is what i got going on

Secret Jardin 4x4x6 tent.

1000 watt Soils Tek ballast,

Solis Tek 1000 watt Mh bulb,

6in Air cool hood 20in x 20in,

6in Hyperfan

6x24 Phresh carbon filter.

Organic soil

Fox Farms

Seeds
I germinated 8, so far 7 are good to go and have been planted. Waiting on the critical kush to pop thru. I forgot to take the picture of the White Widow sorry guys.

GettoGro-Nice I do think that the 1000 watts in a 4x4 just will rock. Every one I know recommended it. So I think we made a good choice. Well im glad we kinda got the same thing going, we can exchange information.

hey guys my last seed does not want to greminate any tips. the napkin got a little cooler. so i kept it warm now but nothing. should i give it a couple more days or is it dead. all were germinated at the same time. Any tips on what to do?

I would give it a few more days before tossing it. at least you have some nice strains popped and ready to grow. Many breeders/seed companies will replace beans that didn't work if you just ask them nicely. They want your business in the future too.

GhettoGro- ok I will do that I put on top of the ballast so I hope the warmth will help it sprout. Thanks I spent like a month looking at the strains, to finally make up my mind.

How high should I have the light away from the tops? Im only running 600 watts at the moment?

Is that the HID you are vegging with? If so, I would have it set as high off the plants as you can get it for the first couple of weeks.

As far as the baggies, I guess it depends on the temp/RH in your grow area. I've never done that before, but I veg under T8 flouro tubes and temps where I veg rarely go below 70f.

Yes it is hid i have it dimmed down to 600watts. at the moment its 18 inches from the top of the cups. I been maintaining about 80f all day the humidity is like 30%.

That still seems like a lot of light for little babies. I have never raised seedlings under MH, myself. I think I would raise the light another foot. The HID are very intense. IF you can hold your hand right over the tops of the plants and hold it there without burning youself, it may be OK. IF you can get your RH up 50-60, that would be good for seedlings too. Then you would not need the baggies.

What do you say about the baggies leave them or take them out of them?

GhettoGro i might need to get a humidifier to get it up to that range. right now i put my hand at the tops and it only feels warm not hot at all .
