Nordic Guerilla - 55° North Outdoor Auto Grow

Sub cools video, where? I noticed that with the mason jar process it was better/more with a 1/4 ounce then a half or whole oz. processed.
So the big info for me I got was dont over agitate it. Mix it like thin set, nice easy and not too long. Basically dont mix the shit out of it. Mix just enough.
Im thinking getting a whip just for hash and my drill is low speed and using that this year. I dont want to shake a jar a 1/4 oz at a time. Im thinking a drill and bucket and a 1/4 lb at a time in 5 bags?
Also with shaking the jar method you look for foam. When its foamed you know its done??? So if I mix with a drill it will be slow/low torque, few minutes until foamy then drain Im thinking.
Thanks!!!!!!

Final Dry Weight and Bud Porn

This year has been a mixed pleasure with both success and failure.
The weather has been very, very wet this summer and budrot was our main enemy, I noticed that mostly the main cola suffered so it might be worthwhile to top or LST.

We've learned a lot that will come in handy in future adventures.
The SWICK setup worked fine, though it eventually drowned in the many showers throughout the summer...
I estimate it would last 2-3 times longer than regular watering, so definitely worth doing in hot summers.

Except for the Berry Bomb Auto the strains worked allright in The High North;)

Nothing is certain when doing a guerilla grow in a densely populated area, so any plant making it to harvest is a major success, and I think the results are very good considering the wet summer, slugs, budrot, early harvest etc.
I think the total cost adds up to about 2 USD per gram (labour, weed and snacks not included :))

How did you end up with a seeded bud? Did that plant hermie on you? May be worth trying some of those seeds next year or even trying a solo cup/2L bottle grow inside on a windowsill. If they turn out being hermie then no really any good. If some end up being female then you got a few seeds to last you a while. Just keep them stored in a fridge for longevity.

So I just see this in today's posts, get excited and she's all over? Hopefully I'll see your next one before harvest...

Maybe it hermied, maybe it got pollinated from some males in the area, I don't know but I'll keep the seeds though I'll probably never get to grow them with all the freebie seeds sitting in the fridge;)

Chuck a few straight into the ground after popping them indoors. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Worst you end up with nothing from them or you end up with males, best is possibly some hermied plants giving you some bud or you may have females. Just let nature take its own course with them.

So the seeds I bred 5 yrs ago I should keep in the fridge? What about moisture? Ive got them in old prescription bottles in a paper bag in a dresser drawer.
Theyre still good but want the best for them.

Yeah. Seeds should be placed in an airtight container or a wee hash bag and store in fridge that is what i heard or read somewhere. 5 year old seeds should sprout but some may be non-starters. Keeping them too long will inevitibly lead to them not starting at all. They do have a shelf life.

Auto Frisian Dew

Nice plant, too bad 2/3 were chopped too early, it's a beatiful plant and very nice smoke - even when grown in perpetual rain:)
Didn't experience much of the mould resistance but when it's as wet as it was this summer, every plant suffers from bud rot no matter what.
I recommend trying this nice and easy strain for outdoors pretty much anywhere, it's probably nice indoors aswell;)

Smell: Like a pink grapefruit soda mixed with strawberry jam, yummy 9/10

Taste: Kinda like it smells, sweet and fruity 9/10

Effect: Decent all-round buzz, good all-day smoke 7/10

Medical: Pain, appetite stimulation 7/10

Growing: Very easy, hardy plant that'll grow on it's own in tough conditions - the most beatiful plant I've ever seen 8/10

Nice to see your grow area from space, lol. I have no doubt that people will be able to tell where that is from such a small picture. I think one of my plots showed up from space too. Havent seen them since they got covered with plastic sheeting and i still have to dismantle them and tidy the plots up, not a good idea to leave them sitting like that. Hopefully get out within the next couple of weeks and disassemble them and perhaps leave most of what i need for next year in a new plot hidden in black bags, will have to wait and see.

Auto Night Queen

Smell: Almost exactly like blueberry pop-tarts 9/10

Taste: Sweet sweet candy, leaves your tongue covered in sugary niceness:) 9/10

Effect: Nice full relaxing indica bodystone 9/10

Medical: Insomnia, pain 8/10

Growing: Easy, though the dense nugs are prone to budrot 7/10

Very nice smoke, this went straight to my top 3 autoflower list. Highly recommended :Namaste:

Think Different

Smell: Skunky/cheesy 6/10

Taste: Skunky, green 7/10

Effect: Balanced 7/10

Medical: Pain, Appetite stimulation 6/10

Growing: Easy, the fluffy nugs meant less mould 8/10

This is allright smoke but the twig to bud ratio makes it very annoying to process, so it might be a good choice for concentrates.
