Hi, i am growing indoors in general poting soil mixed with peralite under 125w clf. The ph is around 7-8 and would like to know and effective way of lowering the ph to around 6. Any sugestions?

You can simply add few drops of lime juice in your water ... that shoul do the job .
Or use destiled water ...destiled water is at 5.5 - 6 ph ...

Ok kool at the moment i am using boiled water would it cause a problem to add the lime juice to it and continue using as normal?

Distilled water should be 7.0.
Boiling the water may be good in some respects.. like evaporating any chlorine in the water but I'm sure it doesnt help with the waters PPM. When boiling, the water evaps but the solids stay behind leaving you with harder water than when you started. I would just leave the water out for a day or 2 prior to watering you plants rather than boiling it.
Or get an RO filter and filter your water.
