Plant problem

Hello guys, i tried to plant some weed first time, so everything was fine, but when i changed the pot from the small one to a big one then the plant just rot i don't why but it rotted, and after 1 day the leaves changed their color to yellow from green, can anyone help me? i will upload some pictures tomorrow, and can you tell me what i have to use for a successfull plant?
