Plant stretch in veg

Is it OK for plants to stretch in veg and what will happen harvest time ?

The only problem I see with them stretching in veg would be a bunch of popcorn buds at finish time.

Usually the solution to solve stretching in veg would be to move your lights closer or increase your daylight hours.

Now if you are using the gas lantern method for veg then stretching is almost unavoidable.

The plant will be spindly and not able to support as much weight as it could, also the nodes might be stretched out too far to make any colas if that's what you prefer.

Night/Day temperature differences can effect node spacing as well. The higher the difference the large the node spacing.
