Preflowers producing new leaf growth instead of pistils/pollen sacks

Well finally the last (3/3) of these plants has clearly visible pistils at the top. I"m still monitoring closely for any other developments but i'm hoping now that all i see develop is bud. I should mention that 2 of these plants, the ones i first thought would be male, have pistils only at the very top of the plant so i have no idea what will happen at all the other nodes including the ones with leaf in those odd spots.

What happened is they started flowering, but then due to increased light exposure started to re-veg a bit. It happens all the time when I start plants early (April), and then summer hits, they sometimes revert a bit back to vegging and the pre-flowering gets delayed.
