Presently I am waiting for my ontario MMAR Personal use Production licence and for me to receive it i have to submit my plan to them on how It will be set up more then likely I will recieve a licence that will allow me to produce around 300grams per month as I ingest it for pain ,muscle spasms, chronic spinal pain (due to being dragged by a drunk driver over the hoods of 3 cars),Fybromyalgia and nausea, but also smoke it for Chronic insomnia ,chronic fatigue ,anxiety,depression and sleep apnia. Anyways Sorry I digress and its been forever since i could speak about these problems to people who understand the choosen care method I have taken to to solve these problems.. Anyways the grow room
I am planning on converting a bathroom that has become obsolete since we expanded the house and added a new one with jaccuzzi so what i have to work with is a 9'x7'x7h room that has a closet approx 30"x 3 feet deep by 7 feet high now what i plan is to remove the toilet from its fixture and place a basin there for drainage and tie the sink pipes into it for water access so now we have a bathroom with a plastic washing sink and a bathtub and closet not gonna bother removing the tub instead will leave it in place and put a sheet of plywood over it approx 5'long by 4'deep so it is haning over the edge of tube about 1 1/2 feet will then brace it with 2x4 legs on this i am planning to place a 3' x 4' ebb and flood table with 30 4 inch pot holes. Now over this I am planning to hang a 400watt hps bulb with reflector and ofcourse mylar off all the walls and make a mylar reflecter for open side that can be moved away to make access easier . then add in my in room circulation fan to create some intra room air movement for the door I was planning to put in a couple of 40$ squirrle cage fans one with a flexible 4" tube wich i can tie in to the chimmney exhaust as this will be a legal production for medicinal use i dont have to worry about police so onwards. also ther will be a squirrel cage as an intake fan. then inside the closet i will be installing in the closet that has shelving that allows me to create 2 3 1/2' high x 30 wide x 3'deep areas where i was thinking I could place 2 4 bulb x 55 watt flourescent fixture and a couple of small oscilating fans in each level and i can also install 2 more intake/outtake fans inside the closet one wich can be tied into the other outtake fan from flowering room or do you think just an intake fan will suffice to bring fresh air into this closet and let the warmer air be forced out or should i extract? ? i think i should be able to place 4 -6 plants within this area if I keep them short and bushy enough that i can get 30 cutting from them at any time should this be easily done? and is this space sufficient to keep these mothers alive
also I have another pantry just outside the old bathroom where i can install a 3' 2x40' blue white flourescents for a nursery for clones or if god forbid i have to start over from seed. okay so that is my basic IDea and I guess my questions are as follows
1 is a 400w hps and 400w mh conversion sufficient for a 3 x 4 ebb and flow or should i consider the 600w hps and if so is the hps able to help me veg decently for say 2 weeks before flower if so then ill go with 600w hps
2 do you think heat will be much concern in this room with either 400hps /400mh conversion only using a couple 40$ squirrel cages or using the 600w hps
oh i should mention this is in a basement where during the summer the with central air on we are usually at 65 farenheit at night throught entire basement including this room if so need some idea on inexpensive ways to reduce heat should i run a flex pipe from an inductor to have it blow thru the light fixture or just more intake air.
3 is the suggested closet suitable for mother storage running on 18 hours a day both light fixture will be either using 4 55wat white blue flourescent or should i run the full spectrum bulbs also will a couple of small 10" occilating fans enough intra area circulation and will i need to pump the air out of the closet or will just pumping fresher cooler air from outside the bathroom be enough with no need to extract as there are enough cracks around door to allow a fair bit of air movement from the internal pressure. All opinions on the safety on mothers is requests and actually appreciate if you see a potential problem please tell me.
Ok the nursery for clones i have pantry where i can put a clone propegator under a 3' 2 55w bulb fixture to help them get there legs and start to spruce up where the top 25-30 clones will be moved to the table to commence 2 weeks or 18/6 vegitation under the 400w MH or if a majority think that a 600w hps will be able to provide equal or close to equal growth rate in the veg cycle at wich point will drop to the 12/12 light cycle and ofcourse switch to blooming fertalizer also I have seen advertisements for Co2 pucks that we drop into our resevoirs and it adds Co2 enrichment are these even worth it or safe or has anyone who has used them seen no difference in growth just needing an opinion or would i be better off stealing my brothers 20gall Co2 tank when away and use it to enrich the grow room when possible. Also i have read some stuff about running airstones in the nurtrient resevoir do they really help increase plant growth and also do they promote greater branch growth as i have also read,and while on the subject of increased production i was told that nitrozyme or something along those lines when misted on to the newly forming buds to increase there growth i was told by an outdoor grower I know that he believe the nitrozyme increase his bud size and density by 20-30 % when regulary treating the buds is this true?
WEll that is my plan for the room as you can tell ventilating the grow rooms and trying to maintain a temperature of around 78-80 during lights on from personal experience I would say that bathroom does drop down to around 65 during the evening as with all basement apt the floor is only set 2 inches above the concrete and at times its been known to get fairly cool i would estimate it gets down to 58-64 degrees so you have my basic layout of how i plan to run my system so anyone with experience feel free to point out any problems they seen and the cheapest easiest way to fix them . ALso will it be worth my while to borrow my brother 20gallow Co2 Tank he uses for charging his paint ball guns canisters is this the same co2 used to help speed up the growing of pot

Well this would appear to be everything i can think of if yu can think of anything i am missing please reply also big question is will i have enoug ventilation for a 600w hps bulb or would it be safer to go back to the 400w
and once again is a 400w hps and 400w mh conversion give better yeild over a straight 600w hps as some of the strains i am looking into procuring will yield 600-800g/m2 and a lot of time i see seed banks list yeild as 1gram per watt would this mean although growing a strain that predominately produces 500-600 grm would that mean a 400w bulb wouldnt allow the plants to reach maximum yield
