Re: Second grow, 1000w veg, 4500w flowering
Hi, JC. thx for coming along, I am going with H&G coco full line without the magic green, feeding about 3/4 strength on base nutrients, and full does on additives, along with 1 ml/g bud candy and 2 ml/g kusher kush and some cal-mag when in flowering. the 1100 ppm has 200-250 from tap tho. feedig with 5.8 ph every 2 days while in flower, and 3 to 4 days in veg. never checked the run off ph, but should be in range most of the time. this PH swing thing happens sometimes, but never did any serious damage to any plants besides they looked ugly. Good to know what caused this, thx a lot
the leaf damage in your photographs looks like a rapid pH swing. the maximum amount of nutrients that can be used is determined by the root uptake of nutrients and the plants ability to use them, its is strain dependent. 1100 ppm without nutrient burning is good. some people go as low as 900 ppm to as high as 1500 ppm. i would consult your nutrients makers website for a nutrient feeding schedule. what is the exact name of the nutrient products you are using?
