Not much to report. Just watching the fade in the Blue Dream… my GSC is not giving me much but I let her finish out. She hasn’t stacked but her pistols are turning amber already. What a genetically inferior plant! So mad! But you know everyone said to chuck her and I didn’t so. But I’m anxious to see what her clone gives me. We’ll see.

Good morning! I think I’m going to chop, but before I do I’m going to ask my buddies here. I like a more uplifted high so for me letting them go amber is not going to work. My question is should I today?
I think they are ready. They are stuck as hell but not per say.

Hope I'm not too late.
You are not even close to finished flowering yet.
When they is finished flowering and building for you their white pistols turn red and crinkle in .
As that is happening they will gradually stop uptaking nutrients.
While that is happening then you watch the tric's.
On the buds only! Ignore the sugar leaves.
You will watch for those clear tric's to swell and go cloudy.
That's the effect your looking for.
Probably 50/50 will be a nice energetic feeling.
But you have some time before then.
Your girls are still swelling.
Keep feeding.

I got busy and when I saw the question I panicked.
I thought you chopped.
If you can get a nice shot of one bud.
Then wait for red pistols and take the same pic of the same bud.
You'll see a nice difference.
Could bec2 weeks or more.

For your veg tent airflow, do you need the air filter? If you take the filter off the 4" fan it will work better. Just a thought.

Yeah I went down to sit with the girls as I always do and I think she’s ready. There’s about 15% amber trichomes and ready. I will probably chop on Friday!!! Whooohoo!!!!

You may be finding Amber's but she is still in full flower mode.
She is swelling and building still.
I would never harvest so many white pistols.
When she is finished flowering and building for you her white pistils will turn red and crinkle in.
As that is happening she will slowly stop uptaking nutrients.
That's the end of flowering.
As that is happening you watch the tric's.
Just on the buds not sugar leaves.

Ok May e I will be retracting that statement about this week. I am told o. Good authority (@Bill284 ) to be patient and not chop yet so I’m going to wait. Hopefully not too much longer but I’m going to do it. That’s the secret of the grow, just when you are ready, wait …. And be patient, and make sure you have other plants to obsess over because these ones at the end will make you go mad.
So I’m still not done with this grow journal as of yet. On a side note, the Girl Scout cookie that was wonky is in flower and her pistols are turning amber already. I doubt to even get 3 grams from her because she never grew once she had that weird thing go on. I might be harvesting her right along with the Blue Dream. Started off together May finish together.

I don't even check the trichomes until the white pistils have darkened. Keeps me from getting too harvest crazy too early.

Wow! Today, it’s hard to stay patient. Thank God I have other plants to focus on. The way they are going I’m going to say days now. But ……. You never know.
