Seedling Transplanting

Hi guys. Im a new grower and I started these seeds a couple weeks ago. I just happened to look at the cup and see the roots are growing like crazy.

Does this mean its time to transplant them?

Also, I noticed they are getting a little yellow on some of the leaves. What does this mean? Nute deficiency?

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

Yes. it's time to transplant. It does look like a nitrogen deficiency. I wouldn't treat it until after some time in the new pots. Have you decided on a nutrient line yet? If not, you may wish to look at The Mega Crop Thread.

Looking at your seedlings, it appears as though you are growing in soil. You'll find lots of good information for soil growing in Emilya's current journal. Her paper, 'The Proper Way to Water a Potted Plant' is considered a must read for soil growing.

One other thing get a pack of the red or blue cups to put the clear ones down in that way they block the light but you can lift it out to check your roots
Just poke holes in them to
