slow down one, speed up the rest

hello,

i have one plant that is about 1.5 ft tall, which was started about a month and a half ago. 12 other small plants that were started about 3 weeks ago.

i'd like to start flowering them all at the same time.

what im asking is: is there any way to slow the growth of my large plant while speeding up the smaller one allowing them to catch up to each other?

im starting to think my large one is male, but that might be emerging leaves. hope not. this is my first grow.

Have you tried topping, or fimming. You wont have the big cola at the top but it will affect the growth spurts. I havent tried it yet but I have 6 that I will be doing one or the other to.
