Yup, punt !!! I love SouthernComfort and understand it isnt the most potent solvent but because EverClear burns burns and yeah burns, im not gonna use it.

Tomorrow im gonna decarb a bunch of my buds and go pick up a 750ml of SC….

I'd use 190-proof grain or Extractohol/Extractohol-O (200-proof food grade ethyl alcohol / 190-proof organic cane alcohol) to do the actual extraction, because even the 100-proof Southern Comfort is 50% "not alcohol," IOW, water - and water isn't a good solvent for this kind of thing. If the burn under your tongue (or in your throat/esophagus/stomach) is uncomfortable, you can always add water, lesser alcohol (I suppose), fruit juice, et cetera. Or add it to a batch of Jell-O you're making, lol, whatever. The important thing is, you'll have extracted all the cannabinoid content from the cannabis product that it's possible to extract with alcohol (no waste).

Or I might do a quick butane extraction, outside away from any possible ignition sources, using the usual precautions during and afterward whilst evaporating (NOT on the kitchen stove; using hot water to float the dish in), then try dissolving the super-potent extract into the alcohol. If it all dissolves, you're good.
