Day 82 - Flowering Day 35
I cut down Jess this morning..
I did an obligatory trich check but they were all clear...I'm not expecting much, if anything, at all and taking her out was more to give the other girls room to breath.
Won't be much there and what is there won't be all that potent..we'll see. I didn't do the wet weight thing...I'll wait till she's dry.
After I pulled her out, trimmed and cut her down, I pulled the other girls out of the box so I could do a little work in there..DAMN they look good!! The smell is SO sweet...awesome stain.. I hope it's good and stoney!

I had to add a small shelf inside the upper part of the box this morning to accommodate the dehumidifier. I hope this works to take down the rh.
I plugged it into the timer for the heat mat so that it goes on during lights off when I have most of my issues with high rh.
I didn't notice any mold or mildew on Jess but she isn't nearly as dense as the other girls.
I had a fan fail this morning so I'm returning that...other than that...

Congrats on the harvest my friend. Very interested how Jess will smoke since you pulled her this early. The other 2 must be happy to have the extra room I'm sure.

yea let us know what she weighs, and i like the shoe box, i think i might do the same, i just dont know what ime gonna use for a net or screen...keep us updated!!!

She's going to have optimal opportunity as I'll dry her slowly then cure for a couple weeks before I try it...
Well maybe a little after she dries...

I had forgotten how much I love the smell of fresh cut herb...mmmmm smells so good...
I got some mason jars at the store today and some paper bags...drying material!!
I think my failed scrog screen will turn into drying rack. It's perfect for the job with some tighter mesh on it.
I'm also adding an additional ventilation fan. Not sure when I'll get round to it but I have the fan and the connection so why not? I'm going to design a reverse carbon filter for it and the exhaust fan for the light.
I really don't think I need the ona buckets. I haven't smelled anything out there in a few days..

Did you get any little bits of sulphur on your girls after applying? I shook the hell out of it but there was still little pieces on a few of the leaves. Should I just brush it off? I have no idea.

Not much of an update today. I watered with ph'd water, no nutes. I'm not seeing buds swelling per se.
I see that growth has slowed way down though so maybe bud swelling is right around the corner..
Changing nutes this late in the game may have been a not so good idea. The plants are reacting differently than I'm used to..some burnt leaf tips leads me to believe I've got a potassium def but I'm not sure if I want to address that being so close to harvest..
I think I'll fire up the old nutes for the Friday watering and save the FloraNova bloom for my next grow.
I'm adding a new exhaust fan..just cause I have it and may as well use it. I'm building a reverse carbon filter with the large particle catcher in the inside tube then adding the carbon behind that.

I was at the doctors again today for my pre-op so I called the wife and asked her to check, she said there's nothing there now
It does smell waaaaaay better too.
I hear ya on new nutes... after seeing Hemps grow, then talking with DocBud and Blue, I almost picked up some OC+ but have decided to wait for next grow. I want to keep them happy and right now they are. Not worried the OC will hurt them, I just want to see how the stuff I'm using now works.
Loving the pics of the girls, they are swelling up quick. I think you are going to see the biggest increase in size soon as they get ready to be harvested. Mr Krip and I are in full agreement now that staring at your plants will increase the yield

I was chatting with them today and almost got out some Mozart to keep them entertained...
OC+...it does sound tempting not to worry about nuting anything and just ph'ing the water...I haven't put an honest look into finding it. Lowes doesn't carry it and that where I go for most of my supplies..
I'll have to look around...HempR is using that too?? With the issues I've had with yellowing and trying to figure out this and that deficiency, it might be the best idea to go with that....

I remember the yellowing, at the time I had NO IDEA. I probably still have no idea but could it have been an N def? Either way you kicked this $hit in gear and have been blasting down the green highway ever since
