Switch or no switch

I’m getting ready to transplant seedlings. Should I go solo cup - 1gal - 3gal or can I go from solo cup to 3gal which is where they will stay?

Also, should I use different soil for transplant? I used Foxfarm Happy Frog for seedlings. Should I switch to Something different for transplant?

As long as you are watering correctly you should be able to go straight into the three gallon pots. I like the one gallons to help develop the root mass develop a bit better before going into the final pots.
Fox farms ocean forest would be a very good soil.
