Tanning Beds...

I was thinkin, would a tanning bed work good for growing? Just an idea...

tanning beds work great you just need a means of exhausting the heat

yea, maybe, you if u had a bed, you could have a normal settup...standard wattage and shit, and every now and then bring the plants under the tanning bed lights for as long as you could, and rotate the plants doing this...would be kind of a pain though. i dunno

I know this thread is old, but I was just cleaning out the veg forum and wanted to make it clear that tanning beds/bulbs are UV bulbs and are not what you use to grow plants with.

.. I built a T5 tanning bed

gets nice & toasty in there, just like a real one, hehe

Yeah but you could sit there for a week and not get any darker. Need UV for tanning lol. But you are pretty close to a stand up bed.
