Thrips at the end of flowering

Hi guys,

I have an outdoor grow. During veg I sprayed with neem oil every 5 days and had no issues with pest. I stopped spraying once I noticed the plant was flowering.

I'm just starting week 7 of flowering (4 weeks to harvest) and I've noticed some thrip activity on some leaves. Definetly not an infestation yet and the plant has no issues because of this. I brushed some of the dirty leaves with a sponge and the same neem oil solution I used to spray with, so that the pest can be delayed and kept under control until harvest. I don't want to spray my buds with anything at this stage.

The question is once I harvest, can thrips multiply into thousands once inside the jars during curing? Or do they loose interest once the plant is dry?

I've not seen any thrips on the buds, j

Thrips survive by sucking the juice out of the living plant,so
they won't hang around when the juice starts to dry up.
