Some leave on the inside are yellow and like a bright green. I'm worried about rot or insects setting in. I'm starting to freak out a bit
Get er done. Take fans on stems, not sugars.

I quit flushing, but never did it for taste. My reasoning was that when you deprive the plant of available N, it will use N tied up in the plant. Combustion products of N can harm you. Now, while I don't flush any more, I do deprive the plant of N for the last 2 weeks.
