Video Post very loud inline fan!

Hey guys, i made a video of my inline fan spooling up and sounding like a jet (i live near a airport and its very similar tbh) so how the hell do i quiet this thing down. In the video it didnt sound too loud but it cooled down my whole bathroom within the 5seconds it was on. Its a vortex fan not sure how big but its 440cfm and sucks/blows like a mother. HELP ME!

insulated tubing is a must, a muffler, or a filter will bring that sound down.

I would also recommend getting a Fan Speed Controller so you can slow the fan down. I'm sure one of the 420 sponsers has one, but if you can't find it there, HarborFreight sells an identical unit, except it is called a Router Speed Control, for $19 (HF item# 43060).

Kayla i have the same fan!! The 440.....ive built a box out of soundboard around it and its pretty quiet now!!! Your local HD has sheets 4x8!!! Should be less than 18bux Then just screw the panel together with L brackets!!! Prob solved!!!!
