Hello all this is my 1st attempt at hydro.

GH Waterfarm 8 pack in a HTG Supply growbright hut size L 56x56x78.5
Vegging using 600 w Mh growbright conversion bulb in a 6inch cool tube.
All buckets controller and reservoir wrapped in reflectix. 24VDC fans used for intake and exhaust for the hut. Added PC fans on reservoir, Current USA prime chiller 1/15hp.

Using a GE Merlin RO system can do something like 750 gallons a day if needed.

Growing 2 Nirvana PPP, 8 himalayan gold, 6 WW and 3 MK Ultra.

Courtesy of WFF. Setup I used except for the smaller chiller. I have it set to run pump/chiller and some fans every 1/2 hour system also runs like a ebb and flow plus drippers.

Wheww! Ok that's it for now t'ill the next update. Flowering maybe next week!:bongrip:

Thanks everyone! and Ms fox, I want them to become huge, so I could have a lot of buds! That was the whole purpose of going hydro for me. I do have a walk in closet set aside if things get out of hand.

Hi, and thanks for stopping by the h20 lines are black and blue opaque which they say is enough to block algae from growing. I think your getting mixed up those clear lines are the air lines for the drippers and air stones.

Very nice garden you got there. They are really gunna get HUGE.

I bought 2 boxes of these at home depot for $14.95 each and 5 light fixtures for $9.95 each. Just a cheap and effected way to add more lumens.

Thought I light up the dark alley ways. I used the mounting chain and just link up the buckets.

How I mounted these to the hut with tywraps they can move up as the plants grow. I can't find this type anymore.

Hi and thanks for stopping by, sorry I didn't create that design I just copied it from another member on another forum. You can use all lava rocks I just happen to run out of hydroton and did a 50/50 mix on only 3 buckets until I got more hydroton they do seem to like the lava rocks more than the hydroton also has a less tendency to shift around.
But it does leave a lot more small sediments than the hydroton.

Hey 420 Sorry won't let me send PM I have less than 25 post. I would go by EC rather than PPM, seedlings should use very low EC/ppm I think you mean't my center gauge which is EC at 145 is probably closer to 400-500ppm atm my EC is 175 which equal out to around 800-900 ppm.

I really didn't do much but go by what the manufacturer of the fertilizer recommended for seedlings which should be listed. But even that may be high as those are probably grown in a ideal environment.

Mine was bloom .5ml, grow 1ml, micro 1ml per gallon and then I took the ppm reading or EC and base on how the plants reacted to it without any burning I would continue if they took a negative reaction I would backoff a bit and take note. Also the type of water your using greatly affects how they grow I would use nothing but Bottle water or R.O water.

I would say ppm for seedling should be in the 100-150 ppm range, just to play it safe.

I only have a ppm meter.no ec. I wish I had that nutratemp meter you have, thats a nice one. I thought 145 (from your posted pictures) was the ppm and that seemed low to me for the growth stage they appear in.I use R.O water as well and man does it make a difference.I am in waterfarms as well and I have to recommend drip clean by house and garden. about .5 ml per gallen keeps the salts way down. Are you flushing in place or at all? if so are you moving them or flushing them out of the tubes you have in place?

So far I've flush about 3 times with R.O water during the 2 months veg, usually when I'm replacing with fresh solution it's a bit PIA, because my R.O system is under the kitchen sink. I was going to check into clearex and I'll check out drip clean.

Thanks

Yes the Nutradip tri-meter is very nice I found it on sale online for $168.00 cheapest I've seen so I couldn't pass it up.

Day 65 12/21/2008 rearrange system 5 buckets with 11 plants, HG,WW and PPP. 1st day of Flowering 12/12, Change Bulb Hortilux HPS, flushed and new nutes moved 3 smaller to closet for more Vegging.
