When do you strip the lower leaves when lollipopping?

Hey guys, just looking to start a discussion. when do YOU like to strip leaves on your plants?
ive heard a couple different things over the years on how people like to lollipop or strip the under leaves that wont get much light

im currently doing a micro grow and LST my plants due to space. ive flipped into flower 14 days ago. the bud sites are starting to flip from normal growth to pre flowers. trying to get an idea on when would be a good time

A good time to strip shaded undergrowth out is after the plants stop stretching. That's about three weeks into flowering for most indica type strains.
