When to trim leaves?

Is there a thread/video or rule-of-thumb on when to trim leaves? When I bought the clones, they had some of the larger leaves cut in half and the leaves were probably 1.5 to 2 inches long. Now after almost 2 weeks, I have many of the 2 inch long leaves, should I trim them?

Also, because of the shock, should I trim only some of them, wait a few day, trim the rest, or all at once?

One more Q: The new branches are coming out of the main stem where another branch is, so should I trim the lower of the two that are on the same node? (the lower ones aren't producing any more branches, but the upper ones are branching more nodes).

I'm sure someone has a link to a trimming/grooming guideline somewhere.

Thanks for any help.

I prefer to trim them up (lollipop ... take off the bottom useless crap that doesn't get light) about 2 weeks before flipping them into flower. That give them enough time to get over the stress of pruning ..... before you actually flip them.
