Will fruit peels put into dirt give that flavor?

as tittle says if i put orange peels or any other , into my soil were my plant is growing give the plant the smell / taste?



also can someone point me out to a thread that explains topping with pictures thanks looked every were can seem to find

No, they will just rot and attract bugs/pests.

If plants picked up flavor, many would taste like bat poo.

Topping is easy, just cut the stem between the uppermost set of leaves and the next set down.

thanks captain for that tut @ droopy how would i give the plant the flavor then ? i saw here that taking the juice from the fruit and pouring into soil will work not sure if thats what it said i think i mis read

A plant's flavor is determined by genetics.
The only control you can exercise is selective breeding.

you can add molasses. bud candy has all that sweetner and is organic by AN
GO has fruit n fussion and pineapple express. i add it during veg as well. good carbs and sugars for energy. dont use orange juice or any thing like that. bugs and root rot possible. i use bud canndy to sweeten the plant duing the final weeks. then flush it out.
but it really is genetics and optimum harvest time.
