I hurt her!

Hey all, well our plant is end of 2nd week since flip.
Sativa strain named B-witched.
I was trying to gently tie the top to pull it over and make some more room.
And we'll it bent all the way over I propped it back up with a stick.

Pretty sure it'll be fine but we're worried about the chance it'll hermie on us. With it this early in flower do you think it'll hermie?
And what are the early signs to look for over the next week or two?

Re: I hurt her!!! :(

That plant will be totally fine. I've done that hundreds of times and never had an issue. I suppose conceivably it could cause it to hermie but only if it was an extremely unstable plant to begin with.

Re: I hurt her!!! :(

There was a guy last year who posted something similar - he split a branch bending it. Later on -just that one branch did hermie. I wouldn't have believed it would happen if I hadn't seen it.

Re: I hurt her!!! :(

Ive broken 1000s of branches, not yet did one hermie.

However low temps or weird lighting will often cause hermies.

Re: I hurt her!!! :(

Well our lighting is led and our temps are steady high 70's.

I am still worried about the lightening of leaves and signs of deficiencies.

Hope it's not super stressed before hurting it.

Re: I hurt her!!! :(

That little crinkle in the stem doesn't count as hurting it. Really.
Irregular lighting schedules and light leaks during lights off in flowering are the number one cause of hermies, factoring in whether or not a plant is genetically prone to going hermie. After that there are various stresses that could help bump it towards growing hermie flowers. But if your strain is going to turn hermie from a bent stem it's not worth having anyway.

Re: I hurt her!!! :(

It's a clone from a local dispensary so I hope it's a stable strain, I imagine it is.

The bigger worry is the deficiencies she showed from unstable ph.
Got ph stable now but she's still showing deficiencies in the newer growth.
