Drooping of my leaves

It looks like overwatering to me, possibly the most common newbie mistake. Don't be afraid to let them go so dry that the cups feel empty when you lift them. Then, take a second cup with the water you want to use for a particular cup and pour it over, placing the planted cup into the now empty one. What drains through will then wick right back up into the planted one, assuring you that the entire matrix is hydrated. This works well if you're adding anything to the water. Seedlings don't need nutrients, but when I grow using Doc Bud's kit I add a tea mix to the early water.

If you're watering to run-off, try using the paper cups that they sell with the lids, since the solos fit into them in such a way that it creates a small reservoir below to catch extra.

Be brave Adam. I know how one fusses over the babies. The control of the wet/dry cycle was a big discussion point in my last journal, which I just realized still says "current" in my signature. :laugh2: I'm headed out for a nice, long walk in the Phoenix sunshine, but when I get back I can dig out the page numbers for those discussions and save you the trouble of sifting through 450 pages. :4: Those discussions enjoyed the participation of some really big hitters on the site and we had a flurry of photo documentation on how to do it right.
