H Sue, im tom. Where on the gulf coast are you moving to? where are you coming from?
if you add a couple of vowels to my name you can easily figure out where i'm from.
Hello Sue, I am a organic gardener myself and new to the cannabis growing and was wondering if could tell me how to find the original clackamas coots soil recipe? I can't seem to find the original recipe. Thanks so much and happy growing.

Hello Pointer. :5: Sorry to miss you. I maintain a thread on organic soil building and that recipe is in the original post. You’ll find it here.
Hi Sweet Sue...can you tell me what forum I would use to discuss edibles? Particularly the best strains and ways to get the best sativa high?

To be certain I understand correctly, you’re talking specifically about getting sativa benefits in edibles? That would simply be a matter of choosing the favored sativa and then finding your most preferred method of making edibles.

We have a forum dedicated to methods of cannabis medication, including edibles. You’ll find those threads at Cannabis Edibles.

There are any number of threads there to look through. If you find yourself overwhelmed come back and I’ll see what I can do to help.

I have to add, you came to the right woman for sativa appreciation. I grow Carnival, from Ministry of Cannabis, and Dark Devil Auto from Sweet Seeds, and there are community grow journals dedicated to both chemovars.

Both are excellent sativa fare. Carnival may be beyond excellent. :laugh2:
    Hi again!!!!

I've been doing a little bit of reading.
I take some oil a few times a day, just as like "a shot," or whatever.
But I was wondering if you feel like, being I ingest it that way, there is a major difference for absorption etc, in a tincture. And is it something worth trying?

It’s always a good idea to come in from different pathways. Tinctures can offer a quick absorption when made with alcohol. They burn like the dickens, but passes quickly, and dropped into a drink it’s not bad. Almost instant relief, much like the hit from a joint or vaporizer, but without all the smoke.

They can be nice, stealthy dosing options. You can drop them onto food too. My daughter carries a tiny sample bottle that only holds a milliliter for emergencies. She said a couple drops under the tongue does her well and hits instantly.

The effects wear off after about an hour. Like combustion and vaping, the cannabinoids activate those receptors in the brain quickly and then get processed out of the body.

Through the gut, with a long-chained fatty acid as the carrier, the cannabinoids go to the lymphatic system first, so by using different pathways we increase the field of opportunity. Increase the diversity of your cannabinoid and terpene profile and you further expand the field.
Hi SweetSue!!! I have been learning a lot through your research and experience. My partner, weenmeoff, has spoken so highly of you. My sister in law's uncle was able to beat esophageal cancer with the oil that I make, using your threads as a gentle guide.
Thanks you for everything. I hope to become a sort of bud doc in the foreseeable future, myself.

Hello J Obadiah. :5: Thanks for the kind words. These people are my tribe, I suppose. :laugh2: I’d do most anything for them.

There’s not much dialogue going on over here. Most of the action is in one or more - mostly more lol! - of my threads and the community at large.

I have a feeling we’ll run into each other again before too long. Feel free to visit my grow journal. It’s the Gulf Coast one in my signature. And have fun wandering the community gardens. :ciao:

Hey thanks! Will do, looking forward to our next meeting. Till then, happy growing :thumb:
Just touching base with you. Haven't seen much of you lately. Everything okay? I got news, which I'm going to go post on my thread after here.
Hey Lady! I've posted two (or maybe even three or four posts in the last day and you haven't responded or reacted to any of them. Are you still alive?

Yes I am. Lol! Just spread a bit thin and overindulging for the international holiday. Haha! I’ll catch up later after Callanetics. I’m just getting started.

I love that you track me down. :5: I was deep in study about CBD. Working up a treatment plan for my daughter. She’s been a little more clingy lately. Understandably so.

I've been way more anxious lately, too. I wonder if it's something in the air. The sun felt so good on me today. Spring is definitely coming. I feel it and I'm so glad. Winter felt very long and I get depressed in the winter. I'm better than I used to be but it's worrying because I'm still not good and so I understand why F has a hard time talking to me. It's probably like walking on eggshells a lot of the time, poor guy. Good thing he loves me.

I don't know of anyone who's tried it for restless leg Mary, but by gosh, I'd give it a try. The topical oil I make is 2 cups of grape seed oil to 16 grams of high-THC buds. That stuff does just about anything.

dont mean to interject so late but my wife has rls and a good hit or two when it kicks (Ha, ha no pun intended) in will help her sleep a lot of times..as that is when it is most critical.
thanks for your input. i do always look to my flowers, bees, birds etc no matter how shi**y i feel. i am not completely off the morphine. it was so easy to go from 180mg/day to 120, 60, 30 but to do 15 mg twice a day is tough. i'm trying to drop one 15 so i am almost there. sometimes i feel so much older than my mother and she is practically 95, ugh!!! waiting for july to go to Massachusetts to do some shopping, hehehe! my plants will not be ready for some time to make oil, or do it fresh like ? you did, maybe it was somewhere else i saw it, seemed like a good way without potential for fire or explosions : ) i am being quite the chatty cathy. time to try to sleep, the legs don't feel to restless at the moment.
    Hi Sue
Have you any advice that I can give my friend on using home made cbd oil, she has late stage ovarian cancer that is inoperable.

    Many thanks

As far as we know high THC is a necessary component in a regimen for cancer, in particular late stage. When you say CBD oil, at what ratio CBD:THC?

Hi Sue, I'm trying to find a post somebody wrote about a link to Doctors that give Cannabis Medical cards scripts in the past 1-1.5 weeks ago. I tried to search all of your threads but still can't find it!! Any help would be great.

    Thank again Sue,

I don't recall that one. Did you ever find it CCOiler?
Hi Sue, I hope you won't mind that I've written to you. I'd like to ask you if you ever talk to anyone on the telephone about their process? I would like to cut through a chunk of the back and forth typing by having a conversation over the phone about juicing. I'll await your reply. Thank you so much. Kelly

Kelly, I completely missed this. Please accept my apologies. Yes, I'm open to talking by phone. That certainly would make life easier on you. However, I don't juice, and I have no personal experience with it. I do know the particulars, and could help with that. Anything else we can ask the crew.
