Hi, I am trying to start growing and I was considering the following setup... all suggestions are welcome.
So I am trying to start growing in a small grow tent and I was thinking of going with Gorilla Grow Tents but i am not sure which size to go with? As of right now I am leaning towards the 4 x 4 model.
As far as lighting goes... I am not sure yet. I have been trying to do more research on closed cool tubes lighting systems and i like them because I do not want to deal with the excess heat given by the lights.. the grow room area is hot enough as is.
Since this is my first grow I am trying to decide to do soil vs hydroponic. Seeing how soil is more forgiving I was thinking about starting with that and possibly building my hydroponic setup after the first few grows in soil. I was reading how Fox farms soil is good but some people complain about the bugs in it.. anyone have any good information on a good organic mix with bat guano or something like that?
The input and output fans I want need to be very very quiet. Ive heard putting the in boxes will quiet them down some and also insulating the tubing will also help.
As far as CO2 goes.. Do I really need to get a tank or what? Will the additional CO2 help my yield? or will is help the quality of the bud get better?
I honestly am trying to grow something like the original GSC strain from the bay area by Cookiefam. I want that type of quality. I know you only get that through trial and error and experience growing. This is my first Blog and I Thank you guys for all your help. Happy growing!
