The Start Of My Journey : )

Here is the start of my journey into becoming a brand new grower, and learning everything there is to know from this "information overload" community. A few of you i have met, i hope there will be many more i'm sure there will be :thumb:

I'm starting this blog on.....

DAY 3:

So up to now, i have got 5 white widow feminized seeds germinating in a CD cover with damp kitchen paper. I started off with them just sitting in the dark in my wardrobe thinking it would be fairly warm due to the warmth of my bedroom, however due to the info i received from the community i have now moved them into my propagator/heated dome as some refer to.

I have had them in the heated dome for almost 48 hours now now, and there are starting to show signs of life as pictured

Not Sure if the next step now is to move them into rockwool plugs at this stage???

hiya geordie, you should start a grow journal so we can get the elders to watch over you
we need more than my newb self helping =)
my old eyes are not like they used to be but they look to be poppin right nice and at least two look ready for your cubes

Hey Yuyo,

Sorry i thought this was me starting a journal lol, my mistake. How do i start one?

I thought two of the seeds looked ready to got aswell mate, the others have very small roots a you can see in this blow up image i done for you ;)

The one on the top left has a sort of brownish root i hope the heater hasnt damaged it..... I didnt want to leave any behind so i have actually put them all into rockwool, into the heated dome and hope that the other three make it ok.

hiya , well to be honest i have never started a journal myself but i think you need to start a new thread in the grow journal area under 'journals in progress' , use the same name i like it

yea that dark one worries me a bit but putting them into rockwool is ok they will do fine
start your journal in the right area some rockwool veteran will find it
=) see you at the new journal

Hey buddy, thanks for the heads up. I have created my journal now in the right place this time lol...

I really hope all of my little ladies pull through, i know atleast two will because they have a healthy root. I can only keep my fingers crossed, and hopefully in a few days see them break through the rockwool :thumb:
