  • Has anyone tried covering the media to lower humidity and if so what are some suggestions on material to use?

A piece of Panada film can be used in most applications.

What kind of media in what kind of setup will also dictate what can be used, or if at all? (I Don't know how this would apply for soil).

I don't see why panda film wouldn't work, but @Bill284 knows coco better than me and might have a better idea

I live a small distance outside a rural town, witch has no shops. I looked into ways of tackling fungus gnats in coco/perlite. I found a good read from manicbotanix
Autos for the win! First time growing them I figured I'd try a few while my photos are in veg. I'll pull and flip around the same time. I didn't think I would ever grow them ncuz of the yield but my photos don't take use all the floor in veg and I'm starting to think I might do ok come weigh day for the auto. I reckon this is how I'll grow in the future 4 photo and 2 auto but 3 different strains.
Can I run autos on the hours/time/feed as a photo in veg? Im thinking ×3 auto and ×2 photo in a 8×4 with auto under a 400w hps and photo under 600w hps. Looking for any advice.
3 weeks until i pull my first grow i cant wait, we cant have any visitors or get any food delivered because the smell is getting strong. Even with half a dozen oil burners/diffusers going around the house and the carbon filter, its all you can smell atm
Mowing the lawn twice a week, that does help outside lol but i love it
4 days into flower, love the cheese but I think I'll try something different, leaning towards Durban poison
any recommendations in the beginners profile. I could try a few different strains yet don't know.

Also, industrial plant and early Afghan are pretty tough plants with a quick harvest for beginners. Maybe not the best daytime strains but good options for pain management or to enjoy at the end of a long day.
I just chopped my first industrial plant because she was showing amber trichs at day 45!! Not the biggest yield, but smells great
