Many weird things happening, need some assistance(first grow)(3rd week of flowering)

Re: many weird things happening, need some assistance(first grow)(3rd week of floweri You would use a pH pen, which you may or may not have. Don't worry about it if you don't have one. All I am saying is watch out for that pattern of humidity. I never said you said that was your plan, or that...

Many weird things happening, need some assistance(first grow)(3rd week of flowering)

Re: many weird things happening, need some assistance(first grow)(3rd week of floweri I have a broken sentence in there. The pH tool isn't for leaves, it's for solution. I was going to say spray them with a solution of bicarb/water/soap as suggested by JJ Bones, but to pH it to 8 first...

Many weird things happening, need some assistance(first grow)(3rd week of flowering)

Re: many weird things happening, need some assistance(first grow)(3rd week of floweri For the PM, you already know what you have to do. Potassium bicarbonate is better than sodium bicarbonate because the sodium is not good for the plant, but if you cannot find it you'll have to stick with the...

Why are lower leaves yellowing and falling off? please help!

It is very difficult to eradicate PM without systemic chemicals. These are generally not a good idea to use on a plant you intend to consume. You can control it with some of the horticultural oils available. Another thing that works is changing the pH of the leaf with potassium bicarbonate...

I would not bother with that wall. When you grow outside you just have to tolerate some of this stuff happening.

Why are lower leaves yellowing and falling off? please help!

Re: Update (after rain) That is powdery mildew. The rain probably did wash it off and water inhibits its growth, strangely enough. This is copied from my book: I’d like to say that powdery mildew isn’t the spider mite of fungi, but once you have it, it really is. Avoiding it is not hard...

Why are lower leaves yellowing and falling off? please help!

Guano always has a fairly high level of nitrogen. You are right that some guanos also have high levels of P and K. When you talk about "steroids" for buds you are wading into "mystery" territory and you don't need to do that. There aren't many mysteries about plant nutrition. Anyway, the...

Why are lower leaves yellowing and falling off? please help!

I don't know what Top Max is, but I do know what molasses contributes and that is iron, magnesium, calcium and potassium. The guano is going to contribute mainly nitrogen. I think it's always wise to avoid spraying things you intend to ingest.

Why are lower leaves yellowing and falling off? please help!

I think you've got this. The switch to bloom nutes should correct the problem. I don't use teas. Their primary mode of action seems to be in providing various bacterial cultures. Instead I just add the right cultures to my mix. I will hazard to say that you will want a lot of air since this...

Why are lower leaves yellowing and falling off? please help!

OK! This is all good. I don't know why I stopped getting email updates, but I'm glad I decided to check in. Yeah, so the Nitrogen FINALLY kicked in. Good work. Nitrogen is mobile so it is easily moved around the plant, which is why it starts at the bottom (but quickly spreads to create a...

Why are lower leaves yellowing and falling off? please help!

Canadian peat (which is what we use) is sustainable. Only a fraction of one percent (.02) of the peat land (bog) in Canada is harvested, and they have an effective restoration method. They remove the living sphagnum from the top, harvest, re-level and then replace the top layer of sphagnum and...

Why are lower leaves yellowing and falling off? please help!

Ok, well that's good news. Oddly, it is a different NPK here from what I can find online. Based on that update, just wait it out. I think you'll be OK.
