10000k or 5000k for veg?

Hey i have a dual t5 one bulb is 10000k the other just says B
and a t8 with a sunlight bulb will these be any good for the grow
i have the option of replacing all 3 with 5000k bulbs . what should i do?? TIA

Im also have cfls 6500k for around the sides . The fluros are for the top

OK so I work at a home depot and I get people coming in all day long asking me what kind of bulbs to get and my friend I have never seen that brand of bulb before. It must be for a aquarium setup or something. The side cfl lights are good at 6500k for veg only. I would say though you should change out those bulbs if you are going to use them for growing I know right now you can get them from the depot for like $11 bucks each and they are 4100k.

cheers. Yeah they are from a reef aquarium i think they are to far into thr blue spectrun im getting nearly no spacing between nodes on seedling but barely any growth. Im in aus and can only find 5000k they will do aye?

Yeah 5000k will work for veg just fine man. Waaayyy to far in the blue spectrum like I said I work at home depot and I never seen a bulb that was 10,000k before. You will probably get way better growth and better nodal spacing.
