1st week of flowering

okmy plant is around a foot tall and has been in flowering for a week(12-12). it was 8 incheswhen i put in flowering boxand vegged with 24-7 for 2and a half weeksunder a 18watt floro). it is barely show "budding sites".i just want to know when i will see improvements. i have it under a 150 watt hps. with and intake fan , and a fan blowing on the light to keep heat down! how long unill buds? i also cut one leaf of each set in a spiral. i heard that works good if you a limited on space. i have a nice little grow box built! hopefully i can get pics tomorrow.

First of all cutting of fan leaves isnt the way to go, your just slowing growth by lobbing of fan leaves. Maybe read up on some lst , helps in small spaces. Secondly if you dont know the sex yet dont get your hopes up
