2 Bozeman Medical Marijuana Businesses Burglarized

Bozeman police are investigating recent burglaries at two medical marijuana facilities.

Police say a burglar broke into Soul Tonix sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning and stole and undetermined amount of marijuana.

Early Monday, Sgt. Steve Crawford saw a man walking down the street with a grow light, electric ballast and a stereo amplifier. The man, 22-year-old Brenton Seymour, is charged with burglary, obstructing a police officer, theft and criminal mischief.

Bozeman police issued a statement saying the department recognizes that legal medical marijuana facilities are legitimate businesses and the investigations will be conducted with the same thoroughness the department would use in investigating any other business robbery.
