600w hid or 1000 w hid 9 plants? Opinions please

I just finished my first grow with cfl turned out really good for 1st time just 3 plants.I have a 3 ft deep x 5 and a half feet wide x 8 ft i want to upgrade some but not kill my electric bill too much and dont want an oven in my closet want to grow 6 to 9 plants if anyone could help your opinion would be greatly appreciated Thanks and Happy Growing !!

15sq feet I am going to have about 15 sq feet and people say in this size room anything over 4 plants is overkill going to be a wild jungle in there. Go for 4-6 plants MAX and use 600W HID with some cfl's seems to be like my grow area. Since you live in a MMJ frienddly state you not limited to a small grow if you happen to get more space.
