I heard something about how in Colorado if you can prove that you use cannabis for medical reasons then you won't be charged. Does anyone know if this works in Canada and if so how?

I would think in any MMJ State an affirmative defense may be raised upon completion of certain criteria as outlined in the Statute.

Hey Hashishin, sorry about the mix up my first post answered your question but then I changed it as I thought irroneously you were in Co. not Canada.

There are many members here who live and grow/use Cannabis in Canada with the Goverments permission. You must contact Health Canada and have a recommending Dr who backs you up to be given State approval. To find out exact details contact HC they will have specific answers.
