Aluminum foil

I use an apple to smoke most the time cause i havnt gotten around to getting a bowl or bong. Is using aluminum foil for the screen bad for u? Also is using a plastic or metal pen as the stem bad for u?

Aluminum foil is bad, bad, bad. Using a metal pen as the stem shouldn't hurt you. Unless its coated with something. I wouldn't use plastic it could melt and that would be worse then the foil.
