The city of Vancouver passed an ordinance last July to restrict the sight and smell of growing or processing cannabis. I lobbied the City Council for 5 months to change it. The Mayor gave me permission to grow 1 plant this year and said if anyone has any problems to contact him. So, that's what I'm going to do.
I would like to connect with other patients/growers and lobby the city to remove this part of the ordinance and work with patients and the community to come up with a better way to handled cannabis grows. Anyone interested?
