With autos will shorten the days to 12hour 12 hour make it flower quicker or is this just with feminised?

nope autos will flower ”automagically” with any light schedule…
but you will have less yields on 12/12 when compared to 18/6

Autos are bred to flower under any lighting schedule - 24/0 or 12/12 should make little difference but as @013 advises, you are most likely to get a bigger plant, bigger yield with a longer day period
16/8 is my usual to keep costs down but still give a long day

As @013 and @Roy Growin have pointed out, you'll significantly lower your yield if you put autos in a 12/12 light schedule, and accomplish nothing towards making them flower quicker. 18/6 or above for optimum yield.
The choice is autos vs photoperiod, not feminized. Feminized seeds are treated with a chemical usually to make the vast majority female plants, and you can get both autos and photos in both regular and feminized seed.
