Baby plant having weird pods?

this plant was germinated march 1 and planted march 4 now its having these little pod like things at the top,
it hasnt been growing since i put it in these red solo cups, i think it might be because i placed the roots at the very bottom, this is one plant out of 22 i have going.

It's a male plant. Those are what the male flowers look like before they open

That is so strange it would start to flower so soon, but yep, he is right, they are male plant parts.

yeah i thought they were supposed to flower or sex when the nights get longer, do you have any idea why? i am a first time grower by the way
