Bud wash for bud rot?

My plants are on the last week...

I am getting dead dry leaves within the colas...not dying fan leaves...I believe I have early stage of bud rot..

I have 4 indicas (deep chunk)..and 2 hybrids, ( romulan grapefruit)...the indicas are showing these dead leaves in the buds... the romulan still looks good

will performing the bud wash proceedure clean these buds enough to smoke?
It is for my personal use...

I am 61 years old and I have probably in my youth smoked some mexican crap that had every kind of waste and trash
mixed into it....

is bud rot slimey?..this condition I have is dry...

My humidity was too high for about 3 weeks...

It would help us all here a lot to see a picture of what you have. Here is a picture of my current plant is this what you are talking about... What I have is a mix of nature, heat issues, and nute burn. The plants do begin to begin to die off towards the end of flowering... Its perfectly normal to get some yellowing even dead leafs. Bud washing is recommended regardless, and if it is rot it will clean that up. Id be more worried about molds..... How far along are you? My plant took some abuse and is in pretty bad shape. Lessons learned!!!
